This tour takes in three of South East Asia's most diverse and fascinating countries. Commencing in Saigon we head into Vietnam's rice bowl and the Mekong Delta. This fascinating area is flat and lush and is quite unlike anywhere else in Vietnam and with it mix of Khmer and Vietnamese people make this a diverse and interesting region to explore.

If you have never visited Cambodia before and are limited on time, the highlights not to miss are the ancient, UNESCO World Heritage-listed temples of Angkor, including Angkor Wat, and the Mekong riverside capital of Phnom Penh, once regarded as the Venice of old French Indochina.

The Mekong Explorer is a sample bike, boat and kayak adventure following the mighty Mekong River from southern Laos into northern Cambodia, including the ancient World heritage site of Wat Phu, the 4,000 Islands, where the Mekong is at it widest, and the Ramsar flooded forests in Cambodia's Stoeung Treng (Stung Treng) Province.

Situated on the Piphot River at the foothills of the Cardamom Mountains, Chi Phat is a community-based homestay project that is your gateway to a local green adventure on the edge Cambodia's dense rainforests.
