In the morning return to the airport in time to board flight Air Niugini PX864 to Tari. The Tari Valley is the home of the Huli, colourful and proud people who are still largely living the same way that their ancestors did. Ambua Lodge is high on the slopes of the Tari Valley, with magnificent views of the valley below and surrounding peaks. The afternoon is spent exploring the area surrounding Ambua - high mountain forests with roaring waterfalls beckon the intrepid traveller. Overnight Ambua Lodge

Fly by charter aircraft from Ambua to Mount Hagen, a thrilling flight over the alpine grasslands of the Tari Gap and past the twin peaks of Mount Giluwe. Today, a full day is spent exploring the Mount Hagen area. You will be taken on a cultural journey through the world of the Melpa people. Many of the Melpa, despite living in and around Papua New Guinea's third largest city, still live a largely traditional life. Overnight Rondon Ridge

You will be transferred to the Wahgi Guest Haus - situated in the traditional village of Nondugl, where time has seemingly stood still. Awaken to the sounds of village life, roosters crowing and people going about their daily lives. But there is an excited buzz in the air - something big is happening today. A sing sing, celebrating the culture of the Wahgi and surrounding areas is being prepared. Traditional activities and demonstrations begin, sing sing groups compete for prestige in a splash of dazzling colour and a chorus of traditional songs. Fly by charter aircraft to the Sepik over some of the most rugged and impressive landscapes in the world. The mountains start to give way until eventually vast tracts of dense tropical lowland rainforest cover the landscape for as far as the eye can see. From the airstrip, you will be transferred to the air conditioned comfort of the MV Sepik Spirit. Transfer by air charter flight to Mount Hagen where you will be met and transferred to the ongoing flight to Port Moresby, Air Niugini PX183. Upon arrival in Port Moresby, return to the Airways Hotel for the night.

Transfer to the airport for your international departing flight.
