The Scuba Cat
MV Scuba Cat is an ideal scuba diving platform for those looking for flexibility and value.
The design of a large catamaran boat operating amongst the protected waters of the Similans makes this one of the most "friendly" boats to be found, and its stability means that seasickness is rare.
This is a boat for people who don't like boats and is an excellent choice for someone's first liveaboard experience.
Scuba Cat is able to offer up to five dives a day for those who wish. At other times, guest may ask to be dropped off on one of the pristine Similan Island beaches, or may use ocean kayaks available on board to go exploring by themselves.
Often in the evenings, guests head to the beach for a game of sunset volleyball.
Non divers are most welcome and find that there is plenty to do while the diving artiness are under the water.
Scuba Cats large dive platform allows divers to gear up in spacious surroundings and enter the water six abreast.
Accommodation: ten clean, spacious cabins, twin share with upper and lower berths. Berths are equipped with an individual reading light, fan and lockable strong box. Family room available on request (for parents with young Children upto age 5). All cabins have windowns providing natural lighting and a Sea View!
Wash Rooms: Refurbishied in 2008, 3 guest and 1 staff toilet/shower combination. Two showers located on the dive deck. The massive water tanks are re-supplied every 3 days so we can provide unlimited fresh water.
