Carp Island Resort

Carp Island Resort is one of the nearly 500 limestone islands dotting the 325-mile long Palau archipelago. The island is a forty-five minute boat ride through the southern lagoon.

Boat transfer from/to Koror
Carp Island Resort has its own dive boat leaving Koror everyday at 8:00 in the morning and leaving Carp Island Resort at 3:00 in the afternoon. Carp Island Resort is an ideal hideaway with cottages built on traditional design for divers and eco-conscious customers. All the cottages are sea view.

The Seaside Cottages are the first cottages built in Carp Island Resort. Few years after, four Sunrise cottages were constructed, and then the Dive House. It was followed by the fifth Sunrise Cottage and the Sunrise Suite. The Seaside Deluxe was the last building being built.

Another new spacious bungalow in front of the beach is on the process of construction and soon to be open.

Air conditioning facilities are not available due to the power source that comes from the generator, yet rooms are equipped with 110 volt outlets. Ceiling fans or stand fans in every room is provided, and not to forget the fresh sea breeze.

Seaside Cottages were the first and oldest among other cottages, with a sliding glass door that opens to the panoramic view of the ocean. An ideal cottage for a family, situated just few steps away from the beach.

Seaside Deluxe Cottages - A single bungalow, neatly built with glass doors and windows, facing the beach. They are available for single, double and triple occupancy with private toilet and shower rooms.

Sunrise Cottages - Formerly called the New Cottage. Handmade bungalow-type cottages ideal with private shower and toilet rooms. The bungalows face the direction of the sunrise and are overlooking the ocean.

Suites - The Suite is a duplex bungalow with a veranda at the front overlooking the ocean and a balcony at the back side for a view of the garden. The wide glass windows and door provide occupants a view of nature.

Dive House - Ten convenient rooms for divers, seven of which have two single beds and three have double-decked beds for group divers. Occupants may use the communal toilet and shower rooms adjacent to the building.

Meals at Carp Island Resort are served at the restaurant that overlooks the beach. Fresh fish, sashimi, fruits, and organic vegetables picked from its very own garden can be savored.

A barbecue dinner can be enjoyed every Sunday night, and a choice of local wine is available at the mini mart inside the restaurant.

Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style while lunch is served in a set menu. For guests with a dietary requirement, just inform the staff upon check in. The resort also serves special dinner of lobster and crab through an advance request. A special dinner for couples is set at a romantic ambience beside the beach, with a dim light upon sunset.

A recreation corner is found on the other corner of the restaurant. Guests can enjoy a game of local billiard and table tennis with no extra charge, and a book shelf is open for everybody.

The restaurant can accommodate up to 50 people. The kitchen staff can cater to special occasions such as wedding receptions, birthday parties or conventions. An advance reservation is required to give them an ample time for preparation.

Every guest is welcome to a free self-service hot coffee and tea available during restaurant hours.
